Alcohol use disorder, also known as alcohol abuse, alcohol dependence, or alcoholism, is a common condition. But it's often misunderstood. Neither is it as glamorous as one sees in movies nor is it an easy habit to get rid of as "claimed" by some popular figures. I am a former addict who has recovered completely and today am a successful author as well as entrepreneur.
